InterLayer Wallet Privacy Policy

This policy covers the non-custodial InterLayer Wallet web app, browser extension, mobile app, and shared@interlayer-wallet/* packages.

Non-custodial model

Interlayer Wallet is designed as a non-custodial product. Recovery phrases and signing secrets are created or imported by the user and are intended to remain local to the user device.

What the wallet stores

The wallet stores encrypted vault data, local account metadata, selected network state, approval records, and non-secret activity or receive state needed to operate the product on the user device.

What the wallet does not intentionally collect

The suite does not intentionally centralize plaintext recovery phrases, private keys, or local vault passwords on Interlayer-operated servers.

Network requests

The wallet connects to configured RPC and WSS endpoints to read balances, handles, bindings, capabilities, diagnostics, and user-approved transaction state. Those requests can expose public wallet addresses and standard blockchain metadata to the selected providers.

External assets

On the current Gravity Testnet surface, MPC-facing external-asset receive flows are limited to BTC, ETH, and SOL. These are distinct from internal VM execution addresses.

Retention and security

Recovery phrases are encrypted at rest, session unlock material is intended to expire, and local wallet data remains on the user device until removed by the user or overwritten by newer state.
